Nicole and Alex’s wedding day at Cypress Creek Farmhouse was one of those days that just felt special from start to finish. With the lake, the trees, and that beautiful farmhouse setting, it was the perfect place for their earthy, romantic vibe while still feeling chic and elegant. Being surrounded by their closest friends and family made the whole day even more meaningful. 🤍

Their story actually started pretty casually. Nicole, a registered nurse currently in NP school, and Alex, a personal trainer, met one random Monday night at a Pub while they were both out with friends from work. A little friendly banter turned into their friend groups merging, and that night ended up being the start of something really special.

Alex proposed during the St. Augustine Nights of Lights in December 2024, and of course there was a funny twist. Because it was Friday the 13th, Alex waited until midnight to ask so they could avoid any superstitious bad luck. Safe to say it worked. ✨

When it came to choosing their venue, Nicole and Alex fell in love with Cypress Creek Farmhouse right away. The natural setting and lake views were exactly what they were looking for, but what really sealed it was how welcoming Craig and Tay were. They immediately felt like they had made the right decision booking there. 🌿

The day flowed so smoothly thanks to Joyce Otero Weddings & Events, who helped bring everything together. Nicole looked absolutely stunning in her gown from Minerva's Bridal, and Alex looked sharp in his suit from Men's Wearhouse. Nicole’s bridal look was finished with beautiful hair and makeup by Travis K Beauty.

Their lakeside ceremony was framed with gorgeous florals from Premier Event Services, and Ceremonies by Ray led a heartfelt ceremony that perfectly reflected their relationship. 💍

When we asked what they were most looking forward to on their wedding day, both Nicole and Alex had the same answer… the food! 🍽️ But beyond that, they were excited to finally relax and just soak in the moment with all of the people they love. One moment Nicole was especially excited for was seeing her mom with all of her siblings in one room, something she hadn’t experienced in her adult life.

Their advice for a strong relationship is simple but so good: listen to each other. A great relationship isn’t about agreeing on everything, but about learning how to work through things together and staying open to each other’s perspective.

After dinner, the celebration kicked into full gear thanks to DJ Renier, who kept the dance floor packed all night. It was such a fun group and the energy in the room made the whole evening unforgettable. 🎉
