A Love Story Rooted in Disney Magic

Jacque and Chris first met in 2019 while she was on the Disney College Program and he was one of her trainers. What began as a fast friendship soon blossomed into something more, with their first official date at Chick-fil-A. Disney has always been a big part of their relationship, so when Chris proposed in front of Cinderella’s Castle at Magic Kingdom, it was the perfect fit. Even more meaningful, he chose January 10, 2024, a date tied to their first California trip when he had originally asked Jacque to be his girlfriend. This time, he said: “Last time we went, I asked you to be my girlfriend, so I thought this time I would ask you to be my wife.”

Choosing Cypress Creek Farmhouse

When planning their big day, Jacque had always dreamed of a “barn-esque” space without the rustic country vibe. Cypress Creek Farmhouse was only the second venue they toured, but it immediately felt right. From the moment they stepped on property, they knew it was the perfect match. Even when the weather moved their ceremony indoors, the venue team created a romantic and elegant setup that was absolutely breathtaking. Owners Tay and Craig are truly amazing and went above and beyond to make sure everything was flawless. With Joyce Otero Weddings coordinating, every detail flowed seamlessly so Jacque and Chris could simply enjoy the moment.

The Ceremony

Jacque looked radiant in her gown from Lily’s Bridal, with Laura Reynolds Artistry giving her the perfect bridal glow. Chris looked sharp in his suit from Men's Wearhouse, waiting to see his bride for the first time. Their ceremony was made even more personal by having Chris’ cousin as their officiant, a heartfelt touch that added so much meaning to their vows.

The Reception

Guests were treated to a delicious dinner from Premier Event Services, followed by the sweetest cake and dessert bar from Sweet Miss V's that had everyone going back for seconds. Once the music started, DJ Renier kept the dance floor full, creating the fun celebration Chris had been looking forward to. One of the night’s most memorable moments came when Chris serenaded Jacque, making the evening feel all the more magical.

A Sparkling Sendoff

As the night came to a close, family and friends gathered outside with sparklers in hand, giving Jacque and Chris the most stunning exit. It was the perfect finale to a wedding day filled with laughter, love, and Disney-inspired magic.
